Permanent, full time KS1 Class Teacher

Grade: MPS

Marshland St James Primary and Nursery School (a member of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust) is a friendly, happy and caring school, of approximately 100 pupils, situated in the west of Norfolk enjoying a rural location but with good road links to Kings Lynn, Peterborough and Ely. We strive for high standards in all aspects of school life and are committed to the well-being of all our children and staff.  

The Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated teaching team. We are looking for a creative and committed teacher who can help our children develop a life-long love of learning at the start of their educational journey.

We are seeking to appoint a classroom teacher who:

·         Has experience of working in Key Stage 1

·         Has high standards and expectations of learning and behaviour in all children

·         Is an excellent or an aspiring classroom practitioner

·         Works well in a team and can form positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents

·         Is passionate about making a positive difference to our children

·         Will actively promote and support the distinct Christian ethos of our school
